I’m happy to announce the release of my latest open source project, Socialite. Socialite is a very simple Rails plugin that allows your users to help spread your content to the biggest social networking sites on the tubes.
Socialite does this by adding a view helper to your application that will generate a gang of links that greatly ease the submitting of your content to the largest sites.
Currently, Socialite supports Twitter, Digg, Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Technorati, and boring old email.
You can install Socialite by doing:
./script/plugin install git://github.com/mdarby/socialite.git
Using it in your app is as easy as:
<%= socialite(:url => URL, :title => TITLE) %>
